Workshops
2024 Composing Color, Foundations Workshop, UNT, Denton, TX: This monthly workshop introduced students to digital tools such as Illustrator and Photoshop, focusing on how to explore and experiment with color options efficiently and intuitively.

2025 Sew Easy, Foundations Workshop, UNT, Denton, TX: This bi- weekly workshop introduces foundational hand-sewing skills—including tool use, the running stitch, the backstitch, and basic surface design techniques, as a starting point for more ambitious textile projects. Alongside skill-building, it situates fiber arts within a broader history of craft as a tool for community building, protest, and documenting history through textiles.

2025 Block Party, UNT, Denton, TX: This workshop introduced eighth-grade students to the fundamentals of relief printmaking, with an emphasis on tools, materials, safety, and basic printing techniques. Students carved their own imagined creatures and practiced printing individually. In the second half of the session, we pivoted to focus on collaboration, working together to produce a collective print as a group.
